The Simpering Simian has been saying that there was no way to determine whether those high explosives disappeared before or after the fall of Saddam, but now ABC has shown how wrong he is. The video shows that the munitions were still there where UN inspectors left them. But the Simpering Simian chose to guard the oil fields instead of the explosives and now they're gone. Good job Cheetah.

The stakes just got higher this election because Rehnquist has cancer and will either retire soon or even die in office. Either way, whoever wins next week, will get to make at least one appointment to the Supreme court.

Google shot up 23 bucks today because of their quarterly report. Just like the old days, some are predicting it'll top $200 a share before too long. Considering it closed above $172 that may not be too far fetched.

These guys seem to have a mad on for Kerry and Dems in general. But it looks like their strategy may be leading them to corporate suicide. Maybe they're hoping Murdoch will bail them out. Afterall, it's not as though the FCC will do anything to stop Rupert.

Looks like a lot of California kids are getting left behind despite the Simpering Simian's best efforts. Not that he cares about what happens in California. He hates the Golden State because we voted against him and he's done nothing to reach out to the state and court its voters. It seems the only thing we're good for is campaign contributions.

Salon has published a picture from the first debate that reveals a suspicious rectangular bulge on the Simpering Simian's back. Another industrious individual has published a vid cap showing the same bulge. Salon and others speculated that the Simpering Simian was wearing body armor. But his campaign refuted this theory without offerring any explanation of what the buldge is.

OK, it's one thing to admit an error, it's another to try and pass it off as art. If this artist had said that the misspellings were an indictment of illiteracy in our society or perhaps were representative of her particular artistic style (something called naive art because of its whimsy and child-like nature) then fine. But she didn't say this.

My only impression from the VP debate last night is that Dick Cheney is just a big grouch. How can anyone like him? He's so surly and mean. From now on I'm going to refer to him as Oscar.

The Chronicle had a good article yesterday about the tough circumstances developers face in Berkeley. A couple months ago I went to a public hearing addressing development that the campus was planning to help alleviate the housing shortage that students may face as the student body grows. Many attendees were not happy about the plans. The campus didn't even have to hear public opinion since they can practically do whatever the want on their land. But they had the hearing anyway as a good faith gesture. It didn't help.
