Funny article about how this guy's SUV got stolen, impounded and then stolen again (presumably by the orginal thieves) from the impound yard. My question now is whether they made him pay for the second towing and storage. They probably did, considering they haven't even apologized for releasing his car to thieves in the first place.

Take a look at this picture. Nevermind what the caption says. Let's just make one up. Something like: "Derek Jeter and Gary Sheffield are out and proud for Pride Weekend." Next?

The American dream is dead. The sanctity of the home is gone. Now corrupt city officials who collect huge contributions from wealthy, greedy developers have the power to seize entire neighborhoods and hand them over for private development.

This article about Applied Minds on Wired News prompted me to click on the link to their web site. What a waste of time. As a web designer, I pride myself on not producing work that lacks substance. Keeping this story alive is just what you and the GOP needs. After all, the public loved the idea of all the special legislation and politcal maneuvering so much the first time around.

I don't regularly read Jon Carroll's column, but I had to make an exception this time. He makes some good points and I hope Dems take heed because he is right. If the Dems want to distinguish themselves from the party in power, they need to do so forcefully. The GOP doesn't pull punches when it comes to attacking the opposition. Why should the dems?
