Will Ken Jennings lose on Jeopardy this week? According to a little detective work and some deductive reasoning, apparently not. The Jeopardy website lists only 11 contestants this week including Jennings. That means two new contestants each day through Friday. So if Jennings loses this week, it won't be until Friday.

The Question: Who is a Ken Jennings? I watch Jeopardy on a fairly regular basis, but Jennings' 30-show run has made me an everyday viewer for the past few weeks. The Jeopardy producers changed the rules to allow champions to continue playing until they lose, and Jennings has definitely made the most of it.

Big surprise today. I got four submissions for the "Muni Catch Phrase" list. The first in a very long time. Thanks for keeping it alive since 1996.

Fahrenheit 9/11 made nearly $22 million as the top-grossing movie this past weekend. Some of its success has to be attributed to the efforts that went into blocking the distribution and showing of this film.

OK. I've got the cell phone, the portable computers (laptop and PDA), the portable storage (USB disk) and the desktop computer. But where is my jet pack and flying car? And how about my apartment on the moon?

Interesting idea. I'm not sure that I would be willing to invest in his brain. I would need to see how often he engaged in detrimental behavior before he decided to sell these brain futures first.
