I last saw my brother Matt in the summer of 1992. He was visiting our mother during Summer vacation. I had not seen Matt very much in the previous four years because his father had obtained sole custody and had moved to Southern California. (more...)

Despite the lack of permanent employment, we've still had a great holiday. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my new site fully operational yet. Too many meetings, phone calls and baby distractions to focus. (more...)

My recent transition to a free agent has precluded me from posting updates lately which is why the election passed unremarked here. In November 2006, I purchased two Sony Ericsson Z525a cell phones. Within in three months, the screen on one phone turned blank white and could not be reset without being sent to a repair center. A few months later, the second phone had the same problem with the same result. Fortunately, the phones were still under warranty, so my only (not insignificant) cost was shipping. Unfortunately, the first phone is malfunctioning again and the warranty has expired.

I was the primary parent this weekend because Leslie was engaged in some important Buddhist teachings. This means I got to keep up with 16-month-old, clean the house, grocery shop, cook and conduct some business over the course of two days. Needless to say, I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.
