Last night, tragedy struck as we ran out of candy shortly before 8. We were as devastated as the dissapointed ghosts and ghouls who bore witness to the emergence of the bottom of the candy bowl.

Yesterday was my birthday (number 40!!!) and so we decided to try this little take-out restaurant in the Gourmet Ghetto of Berkeley. The experience was unique and delicious.

I'm finally employed full time. My new employer is in Palo Alto, which means a 40-mile commute to and from work. Since we only had one car, we had to look into getting a second vehicle.

I know it's been a while since I posted anything new. All I can say is that job hunting can really cramp your style. Hopefully this situation is about to change for the better. Keep you fingers crossed.

With work and the holidays fast approaching, I just haven't had time to post this week. I'm just about done with my shopping but I just found a few things that could be added: a copy cat, a new calendar for Ahrnold and a bomb shelter.

There's big news today about Symantec acquiring Veritas which causes me to heave a huge sigh of relief. I had two interviews with Veritas after Booz Allen laid me off. They decided to pass. Now it looks like they may be facing some painful changes themselves in the near future.

As of today it is official. I am now unemployed. Boy am I feeling good about our economy now!! If you are looking for a web designer who has a good grasp of technology, contact me. My portfolio and resume are availble for all to see.

I may be lax in posting for a while. I'm busy looking for new work. I'm searching for freelance and permanent full-time positions in case you're interested. Re-locating is an option, though I would prefer to remain in the Bay Area. Check out my portfolio for examples of my work and look at my resume as well.
