This website provided a unique opportunity to build a portfolio-style site for a hair stylist. The site features before and after galleries, biographical information and contact information.

Design of Erran Andrews
A minimum amount of content compared to a large number of photos dictated the design of this site. This design focused on emphasizing the photos of clients and the stylist himself. The content area is rendered as a side bar column while the photos, price list and map are given the prime real estate on the page. The home page features a Flash-based image carousel that can be easily update to add more before and after transformations in the future.

Development of Erran Andrews
This site is a static hand-built site with some PHP includes to manage the header, topnav and footer sections of the page. The structure is XHTML 1.0 strict and the layout and presentation are provided with CSS. IE7 and IE6 compatibility is acheived using conditional comment style sheets. The site also features several Javascript enhancements including an image browser script, thumb enlargment script, and in-page navigation script. The site employs some best practices for SEO that includes friendly URLs, semantic, structural markup and strategic use of keywords.
