LetsTalk.com Intranet Site
I got this project because my name was pulled out of a hat. I was given some simple requirements and then told to run with it. The result was a very useful intranet site that no one actually used.

Design of the Intranet Site
The Drupal CMS was gong to be used to manage the intranet sight, so the design of the site was more an exercise in re-skinning the base design that Drupal provides.
I was however, able to be a little creative with the home page. The layout of the home page features a free-for-all float layout. Since most LetsTalk employees had either wide screen or dual monitors or both, I decided to play with how wide the home page could be. The end result was that not everyone saw the same layout everytime they opened the site.

Development of the Intranet Site
Since Drupal was being used to manage the site, all the templates were based on XHTML 1.0 Transitional and the layout and presentation was based on CSS 2.1. Some customizations to Drupal included incorporating access control modules to manage authors, editors and readers.

The Intranet Site Gallery
These screen captures show the intranet home page as it would appear when a browser window is fully expanded across two 17 inch monitors. Click on the thumbnails to view a larger version of each image.
