The Ni Sa Bula site involved the re-design of an existing site and the integration of an e-commerce solution that would allow the owners to sell their goods online to a potential world-wide consumer market.

Design of Ni Sa Bula

Ni Sa Bula features a layout that is based on a four column symetrical grid. Custom design elements include buttons and the background pattern based on a Tapa, a traditional Fijian cloth. The earth tone color palette provides a sense of harmony and supports the store's philosophy of supporting social responsibility.
Development of Ni Sa Bula

The site is driven by the ZenCart open source e-commerce solution. The templates for the blog are built on the XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD. The XHTML is mimized as much as possible to limit the typical use of DIV's in place of table elements. Layout and styling is provided by CSS. Dean Edwards IE8 script brings IE 7 and 6 into compliance with some of the advanced CSS used on the site. JavaScript is used on the product detail page to show the larger product image.
