PhoneTalk, The LetsTalk.com Blog

This is one of the first projects I took on after joining LetsTalk.com. The original intent was to create a blog that was independent of the LetsTalk brand in the same manner that Dell's Direct2Dell blog was distinct in styling compared to Dell's main site.
Design of PhoneTalk

Design elements for PhoneTalk include the logo and branding, category icons, headers "flags", buttons, and border widgets. The layout features a main column with a side bar column for category and post navigation and other links related to the blog inicluding author bios and blog rolls.
Development of PhoneTalk

The templates for the blog are based on XHTML 1.0 Transitional. The CSS-based layout employs a negative float margin to position the side bar. Visual styling of text and other graphical elements are established by CSS as well.
